Our Fachschaft (FSI) organizes a variety of exciting and informative events for our members and interested parties. Here are some of our regular events:

PhD@WIN

This event is aimed specifically at our doctoral students. Here they can present their research projects, get feedback and network with other doctoral students.

What is WIN

An information event that provides a comprehensive overview of our faculty, the various degree programs and the opportunities they offer. Ideal for new and potential students, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s students.

Guest Lectures

We regularly invite renowned experts from the field of computer science to talk about current trends and research findings. A perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain inspiring insights.

WInfnacht

Our annual winter party, where we bring the year to a close with mulled wine, cookies and good company. A highlight for all members!

Barbecue

In summer, we organize a big barbecue. It’s the perfect opportunity to get together in a relaxed atmosphere and make new friends.

Pizza Night

Did someone say free pizza for everyone! Meet up with other students, exchange ideas, win against others in UNO, play beer pong or just have a nice evening. Whatever you can think of!

Java Crash Course

Every semester we organize a Java Crash Course to make it easier for all new programmers to get started and to prepare them for algorithms and data structures.
