Founder Associate (intern/full-time)
Do you want to redefine credit cards?
Today's credit cards have a bad reputation in Germany, and rightly so: Complex charges,
tricks in the fine print, and intransparency about interest can lead to poor financial health
and easily end in spiralling debt. We're building a different credit card – one that is
centered around transparency and control. A credit card that even Germans will love.
Monet will roll out its first credit cards in Q4/2021. As we are currently in stealth-mode, we
would like to tell you more in person.
Join Monet’s mission to fix credit cards.
Your Role
› As our Founder Associate, you will be part of a small elite team who report directly
to the CEO
› You will be thrown at different tasks and problems across the company (for
example, identifying new business opportunities, hiring talented people, creating
and measuring different KPIs within Monet etc.)
› This is a incomparable opportunity, learning how to build a business from scratch,
how to solve absolutely any problem, and how to achieve any possible goal directly
from a founder
Your Background
› You are an advanced student or young professional, ideally with a background in
business information technology, industrial engineering, or computer science
(Wirtschaftsinformatik / Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen / Informatik).
› Your analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving help you to turn
data into deep insights, using tools such as SQL, Python and Excel
› You have an affinity to finance and technology and excellent communication skills.
› You thrive in an agile startup environment and you are eager to move things
forward. Creativity, fresh ideas and a passion for cutting edge technology are the
driving force behind your work.
Our Offer
› An excellent career opportunity in a high-performing environment: Your chance to
shape a company and its products from the very first minute.
› A one-in-a-kind opportunity to shake up the credit card industry.
› Founding team with distinct experience in technology, payments and credit risk.
› We are well-funded by angel investors who are founders of highly successful
companies.
