Student Assistant (m/f/d) on Gamifying the Human-AI Collaboration

The Assistant Professorship of Information Systems (Gamification) offers up to two Student Assistant (m/f/d) positions to take part in the research project „Gamified Human-AI Collaboration“, which focuses on investigating the application of gamification to support the collaboration of humans and autonomous systems.

We are searching for dedicated and motivated students with a background in psychology, information systems or a similar field. Having a strong interest or even previous experience in games & gamification research would be beneficial. Further, you should be willing to take over responsibility for a topic and push this forward independently. The weekly working hours lie between 10-16 hours which you can arrange flexibly and in home office, if preferred. Start will be as soon as possible.

Tasks

  • Mapping the Landscape: Structure the existing body of knowledge on human-AI collaboration and identify research gaps by conducting a comprehensive literature review
  • Prepare and conduct empirical studies, such as quantitative or qualitative interviews with AI and gamification researchers and practitioners
  • Identify correlations between research findings and existing theories and derive practical implications for designing AI systems
  • Create visual presentations of research findings and illustrate research concepts
  • Assist in writing research papers as well as planning and preparing research proposals
