Create timetable Made Simple

At university, you have to take care of your own timetable, so you no longer get a ready-made timetable like at school. To create your timetable, you need two things. Firstly, the examination regulations or, even better, the study plan, which gives you a recommendation for modules (i.e. lectures) per semester. Secondly, the Campo, which contains all the information about modules, courses etc. at FAU.

First of all: Don’t be disturbed by possible overlaps. This mostly concerns exercises/tutorials of the modules, which are usually offered on different days and from which you can choose. The allocation takes place in the corresponding lectures. It is best to create your timetable with lectures first and add to it when the allocation is complete. Sometimes there are also lecture recordings.

After you have logged in to Campo, you will land on the Campo homepage. Follow the images to navigate to the course catalog.

Make sure that you have selected the correct semester. Then scroll down a little further.

Open the tab for degree programs in the Faculty of Law and Economics and search for Wirtschaftsinformatik.

Here you have to select the tab with your examination regulations. For new freshmen it is always the latest one, so here 20232.

Expand the Bachelor’s examination and overall account tabs. You will now see the overview from the curriculum or the module handbook. We will now take the lecture Entrepreneurs and Companies as an example. This is in the Fundamentals and Orientation Examination section, as this is a GOP module.

If you now expand the Basic and Orientation Examination tab, you will see all GOP modules. You can then expand the Unternehmer und Unternehmen module. It should look something like this. The module has a lecture and an exercise. Click on the lecture.

You can find the lecture dates here. You can bookmark the module directly for the timetable and it will appear later in the overview. You will also see the room and a link to the StudOn course (marked purple here)

If you now go to the top left again on the three lines –> My studies and then Timetable, you can view your timetable.

Here you can change the semester and your desired view. A complete overview is displayed in the semester view.

If you don’t know where a room is, you can simply click on the room in Campo to get a detailed room description.
